Behavioral Health Services (BHP) are limited to usually 1-6 sessions with a patient and use a short-term, brief therapeutic model. Patients who may need longer term services are provided with external options and the BHP can assist the patient with connecting to those external resources.
BHPs do NOT provide intensive therapy, case management services, disability assessment/verification or paperwork. BHPs are located at every main MCPN health center location; however, days and hours do vary by site. BHPs are not regular employees of MCPN. They work at MCPN via a partnership with our various behavioral health partners in the community: Aurora Mental Health Center, All Health Network, Arapahoe House, and Jefferson Center for Mental Health.
